Housing & Travel for Visitors

If you plan to stay at Durham for one or two nights, we highly recommend you book Hilton Garden Inn Durham/University Medical Center, which is 10 minutes' walk from the conference venue and surrounded by many restaurants and grocery stores. The hotel also has free shuttle service from the hotel to Duke's East Campus, where our contest will be held (please confirm the front desk of the hotel about the shuttle time). If you choose to take a Uber/Lyft from the RDU airport to the hotel, it normally costs around 25 US dollars (a 20-min ride) so there is no need to rent a car for your local travel at Durham.
