About Us

Attorney Joseph "Joey" R. Franks grew up in West Monroe Louisiana. After finishing from West Ouachita High School he went to the College of Louisiana at Monroe where he finished with a major in speech communication in 2008. Throughout senior high school and also university he worked at various jobs including pouring concrete, carpentry factory work at a paper mill worker and at an antique public auction operating an antique shop as well as running a salvage lawn.

After university Joey went to work for the Louisiana and Delta Railway where he started as a train brakeman. He was promoted to train conductor and also locomotive designer prior to working with the Canadian National/Illinois Central Railroad.

In 2011 Joey went into Mississippi University School of Law where he finished cum laude in 2014. While in law college he worked on the Moot Court Board as treasurer of the Student Federal Bar Association the Civil Law Society and as a trainee librarian.

Joey opened up The Franks Law practice PLLC in June 2014. Since then he's helped thousands of customers in the legal areas of Federal Employers Liability Act (FELA), Mississippi DUI Defense Mississippi, Criminal Defense. Mississippi Personal Injury and also Mississippi Employees Payment.
