Duet Web Control (also known as DWC) is a fully-featured browser-based user interface for the Duet family of electronics, running RepRapFirmware. DWC runs over a network connection in most modern browsers that support HTML 5, and allows configuration and control over a Duet. It is adaptive and what is displayed changes depending on the configuration of the printer connected. It is developed primarily by Christian Hammacher, and the source files are available on Github.

In the middle is the Tool control. For each defined tool this shows tool and filament state, heater state, current temperature, and active and standby set temperatures. A second tab 'Extra' shows any other defined sensors.

At the top of this section there are buttons to Home All axes, and a drop-down menu for bed compensation and calibration. On the left, there are buttons to home each axis individually, and next to these are buttons to manually control the movement of individual axes. Any additionally-defined axes beyond standard X, Y and Z will populate below these axes. Below this is a notification area that highlights if axes are not homed.

Fan control shows the current duty cycle/speed for each fan when selected, and allows direct selection of fans and manual setting of their speed. The 'Tool fan' is the controllable fan of the currently selected tool. All Gcode/manually controlled fans should be shown. Thermostatically controlled fans are not displayed, and are not controllable.

The Height Map screen displays the bed mesh compensation results. You can save multiple meshes, and display them on this screen. The view shows the statistics of the bed mesh, and some control over the display. Holding the mouse over a particular point on the mesh will show its X, Y and Z coordinates. The bed mesh can also be rotated by dragging with the mouse.

The print control section has a check box to "Enable Auto-Sleep". If this is selected then the M1 GCode is sent at the end of the print which runs the "sleep.g" macro file. This for example would allow the shutting down of the main power supply once the print has completed (assuming the printer hardware is set up to allow this).

The symptoms were typical and described all over the net: no response to the power-on button, a few LEDs glowing faintly and interior bulb turning on with the door open. Occasionally, I could also get things to start by flipping the dryer breaker off and letting it sit for a few days. Yeah, very popular with SWMBO. The solutions were all over the place too and mainly suggested replacing either the control board ($250), user interface panel ($145) or a thermal fuse $12). Problem is, you need to know which one you actually need first and that requires debugging.

Taking the unit apart turned out to be very easy- take three screws out on the back, slide the top cover off, then the control board is on the left, easily accessible. Looking at the schematic, not much can prevent things from turning on.

Well the things you find when you are looking for something else. I just happen to have the same units and have had to replace the main control board, (it hurt the wallet) as the build up of dust in the dryer case was too much for the electronics. It is very advisable that if you have one of these dryers that you pull the top cover at least once a year (depending on your use) and clean out the dust. JUST MAKE SURE THAT YOU UNPLUG THE DRYER FIRST. Thanks much for the write up and pics.

For reference, the exact model number for my Whirlpool Duet is YGEW9250PW0. The control board part# 8267332 Rev.D The relay I was going to replace is OMRON G8P-1A4P but in this case removing the LED did the trick for me.

So we also have the cursed dryer. Resoldering the LEDs to clean up cold solder worked for awhile but it was just masking the true problem. The LEDs themselves were failing likely due to the heat stress/humidity/etc. causing them to reverse bias at ordinary voltage under certain conditions. As mentioned by others, the design is such a multiplexed mess that in this ridiculous thing the failing diodes end up interfering with the control bus.

The Duet 2 3D printer controller board combines some of the best components available into an incredible all-in-one controller. Don't sweat which drivers to get - the TMC2660's come baked in and an onboard WiFi or Ethernet connection enables networked printing from anywhere on your LAN.

The Duet 2 includes a baked-in network chip for easy machine control from any device on your network. From desktop computers to tablets and smartphones, printer control is available across the board. Having stepper drivers baked in is great - but they aren't just any old drivers. The TMC2660 drivers are crazy quiet and capable of up to 256th microstepping for smooth and precise machine motion.

In August 2022, Swims did a show-stopping duet of "Don't Stop Believin'" by Journey with America's Got Talent Season 14 winner Kodi Lee on the Live Results Show for AGT Season 17. Read all about it here.

My duet dryer was experiencing erratic behavior. The drum light always worked. When the dryer worked, it would dry clothes on any cycle correctly and all of the diagnostics in the service manual would work. After sitting, the control panel would often be unresponsive until the dryer was unplugged for a while then plugged back in again, then it would work normally for a few loads. A few times the display was dim or the control panel would become unresponsive during a run. The problem was narrowed down to the ribbon cables or the control panel. I replaced the ribbon cables first, but the problem continued until a heat gun was used to fix bad solder joints. The dryer has worked perfectly since the heat gun repair. Update May 2019: The dryer has had no failures ~3.5 months after the heat gun fix!

Follow this video but STOP AT 2:05, just after disconnecting the ribbon cables. The video shows you how to access and remove the ribbon cables from the control BOARD. After you remove them from the control BOARD, remove the 4 screws holding on the control PANEL.

I used a cheap $20 Harbor Freight heat gun on low. Heat about 2" of circuit board 60 to 80 seconds at a time similar to the video card repair video until you have done both of the front control panel boards. You will melt some plastic posts and some back plastic edges but nothing visible. You don't have to get it hot enough to melt the solder, just really hot.

UPDATE 7/2020: If I had to do it again, I would set the heat gun on high, it should heat up the solder faster so the plastic will be less likely to melt. Also if your dryer is old enough to need a control panel fix, you should check for lint build up in the bottom part of your dryer to prevent fires. It's easy to do, there are a few screws holding on the bottom front cover. Mine had a huge build up even though I constantly clean the lint trap. With the dryer unplugged, I used a vacuum cleaner to remove the lint.

(1) Background: A healthful diet, regular physical activity, and weight management are cornerstones for cancer prevention and control. Yet, adherence is low in cancer survivors and others, calling for innovative solutions. Daughters, dUdes, mothers, and othErs fighting cancer Together (DUET) is a 6-month, online, diet-and-exercise, weight-loss intervention to improve health behaviors and outcomes among cancer survivor-partner dyads. (2) Methods: DUET was tested in 56 dyads (survivors of obesity-related cancers and chosen partners) (n = 112), both with overweight/obesity, sedentary behavior, and suboptimal diets. After baseline assessment, dyads were randomized to DUET intervention or waitlist control arms; data were collected at 3- and 6-months and analyzed using chi-square, t-tests, and mixed linear models ( < 0.05). (3) Results: Retention was 89% and 100% in waitlisted and intervention arms, respectively. Dyad weight loss (primary outcome) averaged -1.1 (waitlist) vs. -2.8 kg (intervention) (p = 0.044/time-by-arm interaction p = 0.033). Caloric intake decreased significantly in DUET survivors versus controls (p = 0.027). Evidence of benefit was observed for physical activity and function, blood glucose, and c-reactive protein. Dyadic terms were significant across outcomes, suggesting that the partner-based approach contributed to intervention-associated improvements. (4) Conclusions: DUET represents a pioneering effort in scalable, multi-behavior weight management interventions to promote cancer prevention and control, calling for studies that are larger in size, scope, and duration. ff782bc1db
