DueMet (“the App”) is a recurring payment organisation and reminder application for Android. This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use DueMet.
By using DueMet, you acknowledge the practices described in this Privacy Policy.
Information stored on your device
DueMet allows you to enter and manage information about recurring payments, subscriptions, memberships, bills and other financial obligations.
This information may include:
• Payment or service names
• Payment amounts
• Categories
• Billing cycles
• Due dates and next payment dates
• Payment status, such as active, trial or inactive
• Reminder preferences
• Notes entered by the user
• Payment history and amounts marked as paid
• App settings, including currency, theme and preferred reminder time
This information is stored locally on your device.
DueMet does not currently operate a user account system, its own cloud storage service or a developer-controlled server for storing this information. The developer does not receive, view or remotely access the payment information you enter into the App.
Device backups
Depending on your Android device, Google account and backup settings, Android may include DueMet’s locally stored data in a device or application backup.
Such backups are managed by Android, Google and your device manufacturer. They may allow your information to be restored after reinstalling the App or moving to another device.
DueMet does not independently upload this information to a developer-controlled server and does not control how Android or Google manages device backups.
You can review or disable backup options through your device and Google account settings.
Notifications and reminder permissions
DueMet may request notification permission so that it can display payment reminders.
DueMet may also request Android’s precise alarm permission so reminders can be scheduled for the time selected by the user. If the required notification or precise alarm permission is disabled, reminders may not be delivered.
The App may receive Android system events, such as device restart, time changes, time-zone changes or App updates, to reschedule existing reminders.
These permissions and system events are used only to provide the reminder functionality requested by the user. They do not allow DueMet to read messages, contacts, photographs, location, bank accounts or other unrelated personal information.
Reminder delivery may still be affected by Android, battery restrictions, device settings, manufacturer settings or other circumstances outside DueMet’s control.
DueMet Pro and Google Play Billing
DueMet may offer DueMet Pro as a one-time in-app purchase through Google Play.
Purchases are processed by Google Play. DueMet does not receive or store your payment card number, bank account details or Google account password.
The App may receive limited purchase information from Google Play, such as:
• Whether a DueMet Pro purchase was completed
• Whether the purchase is active and acknowledged
• The product purchased
• A purchase token or transaction status required to confirm and restore access
This information is used only to provide, confirm and restore DueMet Pro access.
Google processes purchase and account information according to its own terms and privacy policies.
Support and feedback communications
If you voluntarily contact the developer by email, information you provide may include:
• Your email address
• Your name, if included in your email account or message
• The content of your message
• Screenshots, device information or other attachments you choose to send
This information is used only to respond to your request, investigate a reported issue, improve DueMet or maintain records of important support communications.
Support emails are not sold or used for advertising. They may be retained for as long as reasonably necessary to handle the request, maintain relevant records or meet legal obligations.
You may request the deletion of a support communication by contacting:
duemet.support@gmail.com
Deletion requests may be subject to legitimate record-keeping or legal requirements.
Analytics, advertising and tracking
The current version of DueMet does not include:
• Advertising
• Advertising tracking
• Third-party analytics services
• Behavioural profiling
• Location tracking
• Sale of personal information
DueMet does not use payment information entered in the App for advertising or marketing purposes.
If these practices change in a future version, this Privacy Policy and the relevant Google Play disclosures will be updated before or when the changes take effect.
Sharing of information
The developer does not sell, rent or trade personal information.
Information may be processed by third-party platform providers only where necessary for services selected or used by the user, such as:
• Google Play for App distribution and in-app purchases
• Android or Google services for device backups
• The user’s email provider and the developer’s email provider when the user sends a support email
These services operate under their own terms and privacy policies.
Information may also be disclosed if required by applicable law, regulation, legal process or a valid request from a competent authority.
Data retention and deletion
Payment records and App settings remain locally on your device until you:
• Delete individual payments inside DueMet
• Clear DueMet’s application data through Android settings
• Uninstall the App
Deleting a payment also deletes the payment history associated with that payment from DueMet’s local database.
Uninstalling the App normally removes its locally stored data from the device. However, information previously included in an Android or Google backup may remain in that backup and may later be restored, depending on your backup settings.
Because locally stored payment information is not sent to the developer, the developer cannot remotely view, edit or delete that information for you.
Support emails received by the developer can be addressed by contacting duemet.support@gmail.com.
Data security
DueMet is designed to minimise data collection by keeping payment information locally on the user’s device.
Access to locally stored information depends on the security of your device, Android operating system, screen lock, Google account and backup settings.
Reasonable measures are taken to maintain the security and integrity of the App. However, no device, software application or storage method can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
Users should protect their devices with an appropriate screen lock and keep Android and DueMet updated.
Children’s privacy
DueMet is a general personal organisation tool and is not designed or specifically directed toward children under the age of 13.
The developer does not knowingly collect personal information from children through the App.
If you believe that a child has sent personal information to the developer through a support communication, contact duemet.support@gmail.com so the matter can be reviewed and appropriate action can be taken.
International processing
If you contact the developer by email or use services provided by Google, information may be processed in countries other than the country where you live.
Such processing is performed by the relevant service provider according to its own privacy policy and applicable data-protection requirements.
Your choices
You can control your information and App permissions by:
• Editing or deleting payments inside DueMet
• Clearing the App’s local data
• Uninstalling DueMet
• Enabling or disabling notification permission
• Enabling or disabling precise alarm access
• Managing Android and Google backup settings
• Choosing whether to contact the developer or provide attachments
• Contacting the developer regarding support information you previously submitted
Changes to this Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated when DueMet’s functionality, legal requirements or data-handling practices change.
The updated version will be published on this page with a revised “Last updated” date. Material changes may also be communicated through the App or its Google Play listing where appropriate.
Continued use of DueMet after an update means that the current version of this Privacy Policy applies.
