My use case was to simply check several version of a rig without having to open maya which is slow. This viewer does not show skeleton, or skin weights nor does it has a outliner view of the scene (e.g. showing the hierarchy of bones). So this does not allow me to distinguish various rigs. For a viewer it feels quite incomplete and should show more informations present in the scene IMHO, at the very list textual description would be welcomed.

I have been trying to play an animation in fbx review, but have some issue with this. I have keyed the material in maya and then exported as fbx and opened it in fbx review. it plays animations perfectly but my keyed material/shader is missing, it becomes black. I tried with texture also, but same problem. my question is why textures are not visible when you fbx in fbx review and some of the animations are also not playing. I exported fbx from Maya LT.
Im having some trouble downloading Maya to my computer. I have a Windows 32-bit, but Autodesk just gives me the option to download for the Windows 64-bit. Is there a way to dawnload Maya 2016 to my computer? Im a student, so I have free trial.
The plugin is available for the 64-bit versions of Autodesk Maya 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014 , 2016, 2018 and 2019 under Windows and Mac OS X. It is currently not available for other versions of Maya and not for the 32-bit versions. The plugin need to be compiled in order to work with other versions of Maya. If you are interested in using the plugin with another version of Autodesk Maya, you will need to download the source from and compile it for your system.
Alternativley, the maya 2019 version of vHelix has a built in oxDNA exporter that is accesible trough the maya menu File > Export All . This exporter will generate an extra meta-datafile called .vhelix that can be used to reimport a DNA system after simulation in oxDNA (experimental).
