Introduction
Ducks Can Drive is a free-to-play racing game that is avaliable for PC and iOS. Both platforms can play together in the multiplayer game modes, in ranked play and in private play.
Multiplayer
Multiplayer can be played by first tapping on "City" and then either choosing the "Ranked" or "Private" game modes. In "Ranked", you will be put into a game with random people to increase or decrease your rank. At lower ranks you cannot lose rank. In a private game, you can use the text field to create or enter a room code. This can be shared with your friends and they can enter the same room code and join your game. Use something unique! Players must be on the same region to play with each other. This can be selected in settings with options of EU, NA and AU.
City
Once the multiplayer game begins, you start off in the city. You should drive to the garage and get your first upgrade, or you can drive to the restaurant to get your first delivery. Deliver the bread to the houses (directed by a beacon, compass and arrow) to earn money. Use this money to upgrade your car for the upcoming race at the end of the timer.
Races
After the city phase, you use your upgraded car in a race with other players. All tracks are 3 laps. Follow the yellow checkpoints to the finish line!
Time Trials
Tired of your friends? Need some practice? Well with the time trial game mode you can do both! Race alone on any track of your choice to practice and set new times. If you get a really amazing time, you will receive a hat or a duck colour.
Cosmetics
Cosmetics can be earned through getting impressive time trial times, reading lorebooks and through purchase. There are only 2 exclusive purchasable cosmetics, a car model and a penguin duck skin.
Settings
Here you can set your region and turn on boost mode. Boost mode will allow you to boost through turns and is necessary to achieve the best times on time trials and in races.
