Dory is the player-controlled character in Duck Life, then unnamed at the time. The egg she hatches from is the sole survivor of a tornado attack on the farm, and the player must train her to become a world champion duck racer to afford enough money to rebuild it.

Dory returns in Duck Life: Adventure, where she was given her official name. She is the first character you see after falling into the sewer drain in Quack Street, and introduces herself to your duck and explains that you are standing on Egg Island. She then explains both bridges, leading to either Battle Town or Race Town. After you walk through either of the bridges, the one you walk through will collapse. Dory will swim towards the path you took and says that the bridge broke when you walked through it and that "someone's been eating too many pies." She then says that you can just swim through the path since you're a duck, only to find out that you don't know how to swim.

Depending on the path you took, your duck will have a race or battle against her, explaining how each of those events work. After that, she then goes to tell the Mayor about the bridge, and that he'll get it fixed up in no time. When you encounter her at the opposite town of the path you chose, she welcomes you to that town and shows you how the other event works, considering it hasn't been learned yet. She then says that the mayor has fixed the bridges so you don't have to take the long way around to get to the other town.

Doris is officially confirmed to actually be the original blue-eyed duck from Duck Life, which explains why she can already swim and gives grounds for her role as a teacher for the player. This decision was made quite late in development, however, as her original appearance sported white feathers and hazel brown eyes. Since DL 1, she's picked up a camera and bag and is out and about exploring the world, just as every duck should!

"Doris 'Dory' Dewdrop is a spritely young yellow duckling and seasoned traveler, who travels the world in search of trainers and fellow ducks to race and battle. Despite her age, Dory is well-versed in every aspect of training, and makes an excellent teacher."

Marco is the overarching protagonist of the Duck Life Series, as well as being the heroic main antagonist, final boss of Duck Life: Adventure and the only champion without the word 'duck' in his name.

The duck near the statue in Duck City requires that you win three bosses (ducks that want to race and battle) to complete their quest. Your duck can also react to this statue by going, "Maybe one of these days I'll meet Marco for real!" They cannot react to the statues in Race/Battle Town.

Also, in Duck City, there is a billboard saying, "Welcome to Duck City" with a picture of Marco's head. Your duck will react by going, "Is that MARCO??!!!" There is another billboard in Duck City, but with the Alien Duck from Duck Life Space and the Weather Button item. The player will react the same as they did with the Welcoming sign.

Once the dust settles, the player has a conversation with their Mother and Marco. Marco tells his child of how proud he is of them and that they knew they would be a great adventurer one day. Mother then reveals that she and Marco have reconciled are remarrying, and apologizes for not embracing her child's decision to become an adventurer. Mother and Marco then share a kiss as the game ends.

Master Cucu is the Pro Dojo trainer in Duck Life: Adventure. In Duck Life: Adventure, he will train you in any skill once you get to at least level 50 in that skill, and he can train you till level 100. You must beat him in a race and battle to win the championship of the Tournament Tower in Duck City. He is also standing in front of the cave that contains the Wayfarer's Walkway, which leads to the Legendary Tournament. When you beat him in the Duck City Tournament, he moves away from the entrance, allowing you to pass inside the Wayfarer's Walkway. He has also appeared in Duck Life: Battle, running a grand dojo that could train your duck beyond their limits. The grand dojo is like the Arcade earned after beating the Fire Duck in Duck Life 4, but it has different training games and more detail.

A wise master of all the duck arts, Master Cucu resides in his private training dojo in Duck City, where only the best and brightest may train. He also stands as a watchful eye over Wayfarer's Walkway, a mysteriously barren stretch of land that sits just North of the dojo.

Duck Life is back and bigger than ever! Design your own duck and embark on a epic adventure. Explore an enormous new area to find training dojos, shops and ducks to race and battle. Play 16 new training games to level up your duck in 8 skills and become the greatest duck adventurer ever! e24fc04721
