A dysfunctional father tries to reconnect with his family after spending many years in a foreign jail. A god-fearing father tries to unite his wife and daughter while saving his marriage. Past choices have created a web of interlocking circumstances and outcomes. The story examines the basic human need for love and affirmation which daughters look for from their mothers and sons require from their fathers.
5 Plus 1 is a Full Gospel play that explores the strategy of interactive theatre. Five ambitious Bible school students are held hostage by a witch who exposes their weaknesses. They are forced to solve a riddle to redeem the life of their fellow college student who has become her victim. The audience is invited to help solve the riddle, which is intended to stimulate discussions on the concept of unity.
