DualVlog Privacy Policy

DualVlog helps creators record videos and photos using the front and back cameras on supported iPhones. This policy explains what information the app uses and how it is handled.
Information we process
Camera, microphone and speech recognition permissions are requested only to provide the app's recording, photo and caption features.
Videos, photos, generated covers and caption files are created on your device. DualVlog does not upload your recordings to our own servers in the current version.
If you choose to save a video, photo or cover, the file is saved to your Photos library using Apple's photo library APIs.
Purchases
DualVlog Pro purchases are handled by Apple and RevenueCat. We may receive purchase status, product identifiers, subscription status and anonymous app user identifiers to unlock Pro features and restore purchases.
Analytics and experiments
DualVlog may use Firebase Analytics and Firebase Remote Config to understand feature usage, improve onboarding and test paywall layouts. These services may process app instance identifiers, device information and product interaction events.
We do not sell personal information. We do not use your data for third-party advertising tracking.
Speech recognition
Caption features use Apple's speech recognition APIs. Speech recognition availability and processing may depend on Apple's system services and device settings.
Data sharing
We use service providers only to operate the app:
• Apple, for App Store purchases, device permissions, Photos and speech recognition.
• RevenueCat, for subscription entitlement management.
• Firebase, for analytics and remote configuration.
Data retention
Recordings and exported files remain on your device unless you delete them. Purchase and analytics data may be retained by Apple, RevenueCat and Firebase according to their own policies.
Children
DualVlog is not designed to collect personal information from children.
