The Dual Enrollment Collective is a research and best practices-oriented group whose purpose is to create a community and share knowledge about best practices, research, and innovative models of dual enrollment (DE). We strive to be a resource for DE administrators, students, and teachers by supporting and encouraging research in the field and exploring creative ways to improve equity and access to DE for all students. We meet in-person annually at the CCCC, but we want everyone involved in DE composition to feel invited into our conversations and activities throughout the year and beyond CCCC.
Our collective has created a listserv to improve communication between scholars and teachers interested in DE. We are also working on an annotated bibliography of the most important research in the field. Let us know about your work and the texts and materials that have helped you understand and practice DE composition. Our contributions can also be found in CCCC’s statement on Dual Enrollment and the award-winning collection, The Dual Enrollment Kaleidoscope.
We are currently focusing our efforts on building our online presence. This website will serve as a springboard for future developments, such as a DE job board and a social media feed. We hope it will someday be the go-to source for all those interested in learning more about DE.
