DualAngle Privacy Policy

DualAngle ("the App," "we," "us") lets you record portrait and landscape video simultaneously from your device's front and/or back cameras. This Privacy Policy explains what information the App collects, how it's used, and your choices.

Information We Collect

Camera and microphone: The App uses your device's camera(s) and microphone to capture video and audio while you're recording. This is processed entirely on your device — nothing is streamed or transmitted anywhere during recording.

Recorded videos: Videos you record are processed and stored locally on your device. Basic details about your clips (like filenames and timestamps) are kept in local app storage so the in-app gallery can display them. Videos are only added to your device's Photos library when you explicitly tap "Save" on a clip — this never happens automatically or in the background.

Subscription and purchase status: DualAngle uses RevenueCat, our subscription management provider, to manage Pro feature access. RevenueCat assigns an anonymous identifier to track your subscription status — this is not tied to your name, email, or any personal information you provide.

Information We Do Not Collect

• We do not collect your name, email, or any account information — DualAngle has no login or account system.

• We do not use analytics, crash reporting, or tracking tools of any kind.

• We do not perform face detection, facial recognition, or any biometric processing.

• We do not upload, transmit, or store your recordings on any server. Everything stays on your device unless you choose to save or share it yourself.

How We Use Information

We use the camera and microphone solely to record the video and audio you choose to capture. We use your subscription status (via RevenueCat) to unlock Pro features you've purchased.

Third-Party Services

DualAngle uses the following third-party service, governed by its own privacy policy:

• RevenueCat — manages subscription purchases and entitlements. See RevenueCat's privacy policy at revenuecat.com/privacy

• Apple App Store — processes all in-app purchases and subscription billing

Data Retention and Deletion

Because your recordings and app settings live only on your device, we have no copy of them and cannot access, view, or recover them. This data remains on your device for as long as you keep the App installed, and is removed when you delete the App or clear its data. Videos you've saved to your Photos library are managed separately through your device's Photos app.

Subscription and entitlement records are held by RevenueCat and Apple. If you'd like information deleted from those systems, contact us using the details below and we'll help coordinate that request.

Children's Privacy

DualAngle is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13.

Security

We take reasonable measures to protect the information handled by the App, but no method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date.
