I purchased a font with a desktop license at MyFonts. I checked the EULA twice before I placed the order. It was their standard Monotype desktop license. I made the purchase and downloaded the receipt PDF. The PDF had a link to the same license at MyFonts.com. I then downloaded the font file. When I opened the zip I found that there were (2) EULA licenses: a Monotype and a foundry license.

My question is: can a font purchase have 2 conflicting licenses? I thought a license was similar to a contract. These licenses are radically different with one having many more restrictions and those restrictions were never mentioned at their website.

A while back I converted everything over to use PTC's new Arial WGL TrueType font. Some of my users are very unhappy with the change. They don't like how the TrueType fonts make everything look bold compared to the old line fonts, especially the brackets in dual dimensions.

Does anyone have any suggestions on how to make the (automatically created) dual dimension brackets not look so bold while still using TrueType fonts? There are some distinct benefits that come with TrueType fonts and I'd prefer to not lose those just for these brackets. Thanks.

I am using ubuntu natty and a dual screen set up with my laptop screen 1280x800 and an external monitor with hdmi connection 1920x1080 both at 60hz refresh rate. Fonts on the external screen are blurry. How can I configure them correctly?

I'm working on a little something and I need the font that is used in the localization of Dual Destinies. If it helps, Capcom also uses this same font in the remake of Resident Evil and the expansion of Dragon's Dogma. Among DD's game files is a font file titled Gothic_AM_NOMIP.tex, so I assume it's a modified Gothic font.

Just installed Ubuntu 20.04 on a ThinkPad W451 where the screen resolution on the laptop is 2880x1620 and attached a second monitor with resolution 1920x1080. Sadly there seems Ubuntu either shows tiny fonts on the laptop monitor, or if the fonts on the laptop monitor are OK, the windows and fonts on the second monitor are huge.

Is there a way to use dual monitors so that the font sizes would just adapt to the actual DPI for each monitor? I cannot believe that such a fundamental thing is still not solved in 2020: for each monitor, if we know the DPI, we should be able to draw things with the intended size.I tried this with the default window manager, xfce4 and Mate, and all of them get it wrong.

Yes, with xrandr.I will sketch the solution, and leave the details for you to tinker and find out.

I'm not happy with the console font options, so after some tinkering I found a workaround to enable custom font. I don't know if this is the most efficient way, but it's one I know for sure that works for me. Note that this will work with CFW atmosphere only

copy and paste the whole extracted folder (should be called atmosphere) to the root of switch sd card. Alternatively, copy and paste whatever folder corresponding to the FF PR game you want to customize to atmosphere/contents. Example: copy and paste folder called 0100AA001415EO00 to atmosphere/contents to change font for FFVI.

You can achieve what you want using Rule-Based Labeling, but you need to separate the Japanese labels and English Labels into two fields. Rule-Based Labeling option enables you to add labels from different fields and customize them as you like by changing font name, color, size and use offset to place them above each other as you can see below:

Short description: when dual monitors are set to different Scale in Windows then the top menu (File, Edit, Library, etc) and the dropdown menu text size displays in the wrong size (too large in my case). Also, lines with check boxes in the Preferences menu are cropped in the upper end and are hard to decipher.

I have to keep changing the setting back and forth, and tbh, my use of Lightroom has really stopped a lot because of this hassle. I bought this laptop thinking I'd use LR more but it's just uncomfortable to use for any length of time without changing the font size back and forth.

Not sure if I can make a request but ideally the font size would remember the setting based on which monitor it's opened from. I don't need it to automagically resize if dragged between different screen sizes. Just whatever it's started up on, as either laptop is open by itself, or laptop is closed and docked to usb-c external monitors. And if you dock the laptop with LR open too bad you need to close/re-open. This would still be a huge improvement over current!

At first I tried an HDMI cable from rMBP to one monitor but it could not output more than 1080p to the monitor. Then I tried a thunderbolt to Display port on external monitors. The resolutions go up to native (2560x1440) now. And the everything looks clear..... BUT the system font size is tiny all over the place. For example, the font size of tool bar on the top are so hard to read from normal office desk working distance.

1. Select the Headline Block and in Advanced > Additional CSS Class(es) add a custom class name eg. dual-font

2. Select the test you want in the second font and from the Toolbar > Down Arrow menu select highlight

3. Add this CSS:

One last point, for doing schematic this Inkscape extension is invaluable as it creates a schematic at the correct scale with fonts, font-sizes and colors that meet the graphic standard. It is what I use pretty much exclusively to make parts these days.

This package contains 2 fonts; Marco and Marco Brush fonts. These two fonts have 2 different styles. One very unique thing about them is that they can be combined in your design to give a new look with vintage style. The fonts are excellent with design projects like wedding card logo, clothing brand logo, brand logo, product logo etc. They are available in JPG and TTF types and can be used for personal and commercial projects.

yester64, I have also changed my default font and I have been using segoeui which you can borrow from your Windows/fonts folder if you are dual booting your computer. I think I first saw and used it when Vista came out, but I am not sure how long this font has been around. Anyway, it works for me.

Generating a new font library is a very labor-intensive and time-consuming job for glyph-rich scripts. Despite the remarkable success of existing font generation methods, they have significant drawbacks; they require a large number of reference images to generate a new font set, or they fail to capture detailed styles with only a few samples. In this paper, we focus on compositional scripts, a widely used letter system in the world, where each glyph can be decomposed by several components. By utilizing the compositionality of compositional scripts, we propose a novel font generation framework, named Dual Memory-augmented Font Generation Network (DM-Font), which enables us to generate a high-quality font library with only a few samples. We employ memory components and global-context awareness in the generator to take advantage of the compositionality. In the experiments on Korean-handwriting fonts and Thai-printing fonts, we observe that our method generates a significantly better quality of samples with faithful stylization compared to the state-of-the-art generation methods quantitatively and qualitatively. As per the below mentioned code, I want to change the font size of the text which is created through eval ( | eval text= "The performance is determined by the number of completed orders divided by the time there is an active order. This is compared to the system capacity of ".SystemCapacity/2 ." dual cycles per hour.") . Please guide me how I can change the size of the font?

As to the font on the menu, as I said, that is a GRUB menu, so it has nothing whatsoever to do with Windows. It IS a dual-boot issue because you installed GRUB and that is the menu you are seeing, not a Windows menu.

We offer three size options: 15cm tall, 30cm tall and 60cm tall. This size reflects the size of the first name letters - i.e. the all caps font (Comet) will measure 15cm or 30cm tall, depending on the option you select. The second/middle name will be sized to slightly smaller than the width of the first name, we use our design discretion as to what width will suit the sign best. 2351a5e196
