What is the new du home packages?

du Home is our new flexible best value home plan offering ultra-high internet speeds, premium TV content and free national calls to UAE landlines.

du Home Starter Plan

• Pay only AED 389 AED per month

• Free Installation

• Early Cancellation charges 389 AED + 13 (Router Charges) X Remaining Months.

du Home Basic Plan

• Pay only AED 279/month for 6 months

• The discount will apply on the second month of plan activation and will last for 6 months

• After the 7th month, you will be charged the full rental of AED 429/month (5% VAT excluded) for the remainder of the 24-month commitment period

• Early Cancellation Charges 429 AED + 17 (Router Charges) X Remaining months.

du Home Advanced Plan

• Pay only AED 357/month for 6 months

• The discount will apply on the second month of plan activation and will last for 6 months

• After the 7th month, you will be charged the full rental of AED 549/month (5% VAT excluded) for the remainder of the 24-month commitment period

• Early Cancellation Charges 549 AED + 34 (Router Charges) X Remaining months.

du Home Ultimate Plan

• Pay only AED 487/month for 6 months

• The discount will apply on the second month of plan activation and will last for 6 months

• After the 7th month, you will be charged the full rental of AED 749/month (5% VAT excluded) for the remainder of the 24-month commitment period

• Early Cancellation Charges 749 AED + 42 (Router Charges) X Remaining months.

Are there any activation fees or deposits?

In addition to your monthly payments, one-time charges will apply to activate your service:

• AED 200 deposit (Waive your AED200 deposit by activating auto-payment once your home services are setup) - Applicable for new du home service.

• AED 200 (+5% VAT) as an activation fee. (waived off for new customers).

• AED 150 per HDTV receiver deposit (refundable when you return your TV receiver to us)

Can I cancel my plan after I subscribe to it?

·         Yes, you can call 155 or visit our stores to cancel your plan at any time. However, if you're on a contract, an early termination fee will apply.

What will it cost to change my plan?

You can upgrade your plan at any time for no extra cost. To downgrade your plan, however, the following early termination fees will apply:

For 24 months contract:

• An amount equal to the difference between the monthly charges of your existing and new plan

OR

• If the existing plan’s monthly charges are more than AED 1000, then an amount equal to the difference between AED 1,000 and the new monthly charge

• Device cost(s): Device cost/contract period * (contract period - (1+number of months the customer spent in the contract))

Note: Your contract will restart from the date of the plan change.

• You can cancel your contract anytime and will only have to pay 1 month MRC in full if cancel within the bill cycle.

• Devices cost: Device cost/contract period * (contract period - (1+number of months the customer spent in the contract))

What are the charges I will see on my first bill?

·         Apart from the monthly subscription fee (which might be prorated for the first month), you’ll see an activation fee of AED 200 (waived off for new customers) and a deposit fee of AED 200 (waived off for new customers).

Can I keep my current service with another service provider and also order a service from du?

·         Yes, you can, but do note that you’ll get bills from both your current provider and us.
