MRS. SASSI

Teacher Welcome Letter

Assalamu Alaykum dear Parents,

Insha’ Allah, you had a wonderful summer filled with a lot of fun!

I would like to take the opportunity to introduce myself. My name is Soukaina Sassi, and I am honored to be your child’s   Arabic teacher.

I have taught Arabic, Qur’an, and Islamic studies at Darul Uloom Islamic School, Peoria Illinois for almost 13 years in grades Pre-K- 8th.

I have a bachelor’s degree, from Tunis Law and Political Science University, an Ijazah of teaching Qur'an from MAS Chicago, and I attended the ISNA education forum for many years.

I am looking forward to working with you to help your child work on his/her full potential. We will have many wonderful experiences and opportunities to learn and grow this school year. We will be using technology and a variety of engaging activities that make the learning experience enjoyable. Having fun while learning Arabic, or memorizing Qur’an will help my students retain information better because the process is enjoyable and memorable.

I believe that communication is the key to a great parent-teacher relationship. I encourage you to contact me if you have any questions or concerns at sassis@dupeoria.org.

For any information about the material tough in class, assignments, and any special events, please check the school website

I look forward to a successful school year Inshallah!

Sincerely

Soukaina Sassi
