My name is Khawla Alqudah. I graduated with a bachelors degree in Islamic Studies from Zarqa Private University in Jordan in 2001. In 2004, I successfully completed all the Master’s coursework at the American Open University, further strengthening my academic foundation in Islamic and educational studies.
Over the years, I have led and organized multiple summer programs both in Jordan and the United States. I have earned an Ijazah in Quranic recitation and completed dozens of educational courses, webinars, seminars, workshops, international conferences and trainning like In 2019, I obtained a professional certificate from Harvard University titled “Education on the Opportunity of Bilingualism. which refine to my skills as a teacher and educator.
My husband and I established and co-founded Hafs Quran Center (established in 2006), from which we later launched the Quran Academy at Daar Ul-Uloom. Where both programs connected students with the book of Allah.
Currently, I serve as the Director and principle of Hafs Quran Center, and I work as an Arabic and Quran educator at both the Islamic School and the Academy. I have been part of the school since its foundation, with over 18 years of experience in education.
I firmly believe that education is the key to shaping future generations, and I truly enjoy working with youth. To me, knowledge is power, and I love integrating play-based learning and technology into every lesson to make the learning experience more engaging and meaningful for students.
I am the wife of Osama Al-Refai, a dedicated member of the community who volunteered as an imam for over 12 years, at ICP. I am also a proud mother of four children.
In my free time, I enjoy reading, walking, and baking.
