Challenges

During this project we overcame a number of obstacles but there were also a good number of issues we encountered that given more time we may have been able to solve.

Biggest Challenges:

• Couldn't automatically generate windows
• Trouble making exterior walls out of polynomials
• Algorithm Planning and Design techniques
• The learning curve associated with using Revit versus Standalone Python or programming (nodes)
• Solving problems in ways that focused on efficiency

Biggest Accomplishments

• Whole team was involved from the beginning in the design process
• We made great headway considering the amount of time we spent learning the algorithm and design process
• We managed to get to to an MVP stage of a product
• We learned a great amount about architecture and the importance of computer science in this space
