DTS 2023, 2nd International Workshop on Defense Technology and Security, will be held at National technical University of Athens and University of the Aegean, Athens, Greece, July 3-6, 2023. (It is organized as a workshop of the 23th International Conference on Computational Science and Its Applications (ICCSA 2023))


This workshop aims to be the premier forum for the presentation of the state of the art research work in defense technology and security areas related to the theory, policy, law, technical development, applications and experiences.


Scope: 

  Original research contributions are solicited covering a variety of topics including but not limited to: 

    - weapon system technology

    - system security engineering for weapon system

    - anti-tamper technology and policy

    - test and evaluation techniques

    - cyber security 

    - defense technology security

    - defense industrial security

    - risk management framework for defense industry

    - law, policy and strategy related with defense technology and security


Important Dates: 

  Papers submission: March 26, 2023 

  Notification of acceptance: April 16, 2023 

  Camera ready papers and pre-registration: May 7, 2023

  Workshop : July 3-6, 2023

 


Submission: 

The full paper must be between 12 to 18 pages long and should be formatted according to the LNCS rules. The short paper must be between 7 and 11 pages long and formatted according to LNCS rules. Please consult the URL http://www.iccsa.org/instructions-for-authors for formatting information and templates.

To submit a paper, please refer to instructions available on the ICCSA 2023 web site. Only papers submitted through the electronic submission.

Each paper must deal with original and unpublished work, not submitted for publication elsewhere (copyright problems fall entirely under responsibility of the authors). 

Each paper will be reviewed by at least three experts in the relevant field ensuring the publication of only top quality contributions.

All accepted papers will be included in the Springer Lecture Notes in Computer Science (LNCS) series.

When a paper is accepted, at least one of the authors has to register to the conference and deliver the related talk.
