The control panel I want is the place where you can change the sounds environment, edit the equalizer (the feature I need the most), and set the "Karaoke" to up to +-4. My desktop Windows 7 still has this control panel called "Lenovo HD Audio Manager".

Hi everyone ! I've had the B550 Tomahawk for a year now and i'll be using the onboard audio from now on. I installed the audio drivers, it works, but there is no realtek audio manager / realtek control panel anywhere... all i found on the internet is people saying "update your drivers via windows update"... yeah well, no....

Any idea ?

Step 1. Open Control Panel in Windows 10. The simple way to access Control Panel is to press Windows + R, type control panel, and press Enter to open it.

How do you disable front panel jack detection in Windows 10 if the Realtek Audio Control application won't install from the Microsoft Store? I want my speakers and my headset to simultaneously output the same audio stream no matter which is plugged in.

After numerous searches online, I initially could not find a way to have both my speakers (plugged into the back audio port of my motherboard) and my headset (plugged into the front panel audio port of my case) output the same sound stream simultaneously. Plugging in my headset would mute my speakers. However, I wanted my speakers and my headphones to work at the same time.

There will also probably be a Realtek control panel in the Windows Control Panel accessed from the start menu. Try looking there too. If the drivers are not working quite correctly they may have a better chance of working if you choose line-in to record from in the Realtek control panel.

Hi, I had a Windows 10 update last night and after restarting there was no audio device installed. Took me some time to get to reinstall the audio. I finally managed to get it back but I lost the DTS audio control panel, it loads the Realtek generic one with absolutely no audio enhancement options!

I understand that you have an HP Notebook - 15-ay137cl laptop. I read that post a Win10 update, the audio was not working. You later installed the audio drivers and got the audio working. However, the DTS audio panel is missing. I appreciate the steps you have performed and have certainly done a good job. You've done a remarkable job performing the steps.

Finally installed sp78198 & currently got sp78234 to install & it does not install the dts audio control panel or the realtek driver just the generic win same as the more recent sp79841 installed earlier with same results both did not provide solution.

So is there another way to regain this functionality? Is there something like what's suggested in this other question?Unmute audio input (microphone) in OSX programaticallyBasically some command to unmute the direct monitoring of the Line In audio input on Windows, or maybe an app that controls the drivers?Realtek audio console doesn't provide this option :(

I just had the same problem, but it's not because of the driver. The culprit is the new realtek audio control which has removed the lever for audio monitoring level. You have to use an old version of realtek control panel to make it work. For example try downloading audio drivers for this motherboard it and look for the file RAVCpl64.exe under the Vista64 folder.

So I've installed the latest Realtek audio drivers for my motherboard directly from Gigabyte's website.-Motherboard: Gigabyte Z390 Aorus Elite-Driver version: 6.0.1.8586And I can't find the HD Audio Manager application in my control panel. It should probably look something like this:

I read that Realtek may have removed the HD Audio Manager Application from the latest driver versions, but I'm not certain. Any idea if It's still possible to use this application? It even says in my motherboard manual: "To enable or configure the audio amplifying function for the line out jack, access the HD audio manager application."

it would have to come from the mobo driver package if windows store doesnt work. thing you have to remember....the realtek driver hasnt had a update since 2017...only time you see an update is from mobo sites

Setting up a new computer with CbB. The PC has Realtek built-in sound, and that worked fine for a couple of days when I was just playing stuff back. But When I plugged in the audio interface to record, Cakewalk stopped playing sound. In Preferences| Driver Settings, my only choice is "Realtek ASIO HD Audio. The Behringer does not show up at all, and no other ASIO, WDM or WASAPI drivers show up either. In Device Manager I have disabled the Nvidiia audio drivers. In the Windows sound control panel, the Behringer is listed as the default input and output. I have uninstalled the driver, rebooted and reinstalled the latest one. I have uninstalled Cakewalk and reinstalled.

Hey I just posted a possible solution. Check your hardware ids for both realtek devices. In my case they were different hardware ids all together so windows was automatically installing the wrong driver!I didn't see Intel smart audio in the dell drivers so I used iobit driver booster to update all the drivers in the system and everything started working fine afterwards I'm thinking I found the solution.

So I noticed something interesting. The 2 separate realtek devices had 2 different hardware ID's!!1 was hdaudio (which is realtek)Another was Intel smart audio. I left both devices as is (both as realtek) and decided to use iobit driver booster to update all of the drivers in The system. Well to my surprise, after a restart, the sound started working again and it was only 1 realtek audio device. Time will tell if this was the permanent fix but I have a good feeling about it.

Ditto on the Microsoft UAA drivers. A dirty fix I've done in the past is to install the Realtek AC97 drivers and then the HD drivers. You should see two audio devices picked up under your control panel, select the AC97 one for standard (green jack) audio out and the HD for digital out.

I've been to my sound control panel in an attempt to re-select my speakers, but lo they are nowhere to be seen. The realtek drivers in device manager also seem to have disappeared, replaced with AMD's, and leaving no sign of my speakers anywhere to be found. I have tried installing new devices in device manager, but they don't show. I've looked through my playback devices in sound settings (yes, even those hidden by 'disconnected' or 'disabled') and they still don't show. I've even been to my bios and checked for the onboard sound system, to check it's enabled. It is. Yet I still cannot connect to the speakers that until this update worked perfectly every single time.

While trawling my device manager I noticed a system device (high definition audio bus, I think) was highlighted as faulty. Don't ask me why. I searched for a driver update, it came through and now the sound panel recognises my speakers once more.

Essentially, yes, the audio panel from the motherboard is getting me nowhere. My USB Bluetooth works for my headset, but the physical audio ports don't give me anything, except the general static of plugging them in. The speakers do work in other devices, so they're functioning fine, but my motherboard is just not even aware of them since the AMD update, regardless of the port I use.

The Set Up Digital Audio page lists the NVIDIA GPUs in the system that have audio-capable display connections, and then lists those connections (HDMI, DisplayPort, or DVI). For each connection, this page lists the audio-capable displays that will appear as audio devices in the Windows Sound panel, based on default or previous selections.

So, to rule out any hardware issues I blacklisted the `snd_hda_intel` kernel module, set up a Windows 10 VM and passed through my audio controller PCI device, which resulted in flawless audio playback on the front panel audio. When I then shut down that VM, and modprobe `snd_hda_intel` manually, I can use the front panel audio jack on Linux just fine until I reboot (the reboot, after removing the blacklist).

I'm installing the Realtek Audio Drivers on my HP DC7700 machine via AutoIT, since there was no possible way to make them install correctly when directly slipstreamed into the Windows installation. However, I need to get rid of the control panel or whatever that is which is placed into the taskbar after isntallation.

you can install them via winnt.sif just download the zip version at www.realtek.com.tw, extract the file and use the files inside WDM folder. with this files you can have windows install them during setup.

I can use my microphone as normaly and the front audio panel inputs too, but the rear audio output wont play any sound. In the Realtek driver settings i can see that the audio devices is plugged in and also that theres sound beeing played but i cant hear anything beeing played.

I opened a ticket with Zoom. request (#15639354) We worked together and gathered logs. Zoom 2nd tier support said it was not a Zoom issue. Their assessment is: In this case I would recommend looking into the windows settings with Microsoft if possible. Zoom does not separate audio tracks into music and verbal, and because they are not separate, this indicates to me that another application or windows settings is canceling out some of the audio. In this case i do not believe Zoom will be able to fix this issue. 17dc91bb1f
