Who/what are the Dallas Wheelchair Mavericks?
We are a National Wheelchair Basketball Association (NWBA) Adult Division 1 wheelchair basketball team based out of Arlington, Texas. Our primary focus is to promote the sport among the disabled community and beyond. Since the early 1980s, we have won 17 National Championship titles and are home to countless Paralympians. We are the winningest team in NWBA Adult D1 history. The club prides itself on passion, work ethic, professionalism, and class. Every player, past and present, proudly represents "D-Town" and all it encompasses so we must continue to carry on the legacy. Intense competition and indelible talent, we are the Dallas Wheelchair Mavericks. D-Town For Life!
