DTM English is a private English as a 2nd/Foreign language teaching and tutoring company owned by an American Husband and Wife founded in 2020. We provide student-orientated learning by creating customized plans for each student or group. Our goal is to provide our students with individualized learning plans to best achieve their English learning goals. We don't follow a 1 size fits all curriculum.

We assess each student to find out their level and what they're learning English for. Once we know their goals and level, we come up with a personalized plan to get them from where they are, to where they want to be. We can either supplement current classes and knowledge or provide a full stand alone curriculum from the start or whatever level the student is at. Most students want to learn a language to be able to communicate with it. We'll help you get there!

To that end, we use a communicative (speaking) methodology for learning. We believe that the whole point of learning a language is to be able to use it functionally for conversation and communication, not just learning vocabulary and grammar. Our classes are fully immersive, English-only. You’ll learn English by speaking it. The grammar and vocabulary will progress naturally with this method. As we speak, we’ll teach and show how to use the language. This is the way people learn their first language as children, and is more natural. It allows for freedom of topics and can include more games and fun aspects, which make learning easier.

We can also focus on any aspect of English if desired: Reading, Writing, Listening, Speaking, Grammar, Vocabulary, or any mix of those. We teach from 6 years old up to adult. It's never too late to start or continue your English learning journey! We can provide Business English or test preparation for certain tests upon request. Whatever your English learning need, we can help you accomplish your English learning goal. We look forward to meeting you!
