Target participants
The Summer School is designed for PhD students in Statistics, AI, Data Science, Machine Learning, and related areas.
Lectures are in English. No in-distance attendance is planned.
In order to allow active interaction among participants and instructors, the maximum attendance is capped at 40 participants.
Selection criteria
Selection of participants will be mainly based on the quality of the curriculum vitae, the potential benefit for the student’s research and the timeliness of the student’s career.

Send an email to dtail@math.leidenuniv.nl with your motivation letter and CV. The registration fee is for academics is €300. The registration fee for industry is €500. The registration fee covers coffee breaks, lunches, and social events. Lodging and travel are not included in the fees.
