By Plane
Agartala is connected very well by means of air. Regular flights are available from Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, Kolkata etc. After reaching the airport one can book car/auto services. Private services like Jugnoo/Uber are available. However, one can also reach to Motor stand/Radha Nagar/ISBT via auto from where they can reach upto Ranir Bazar. From Ranir Bazar regular auto services are available to NIT Agartala.
By Train
The nearest station to NIT Agartala is Jirania which is just 3 KM away. However, most of the train’s stoppages are at Agartala station situated at Badharghat. From Badharghat one can reach upto Motor Stand/ISBT using bus or auto services. From Motor Stand/ISBT one reach upto Ranir Bazar and from there regular auto services are available to NIT Agartala which may cost only Rs 15 per head. Train numbers as on date are 12503, 14020, 15625, 20502, 55664, 55676, 55680, 13173, 05676, 05625, 01665, 02515, 03173, 05487, 15664.
By Bus
Buses are available daily from Guwahati to Agartala. One must get down at Ranir Bazar. From Ranir Bazar, rugular auto services are available to NIT Agartala.
