Data Science and Learning Workshop: Unraveling the Brain
A one-day satellite workshop of ICASSP 2023
The workshop is sponsored by IEEE Brain technical community and co-organized by the SPS Data Science Initiative and the IEEE Brain Technical Community.
Post-Workshop News
We thank all speakers, poster presenters, and attendees for making DSLW2023 a fruitful and insightful event!
Sofia-Eirini Kotti, Aybüke Erol, and Borbala Hunyadi, are the Best Paper Award winners for their paper:
"Modeling nonlinear evoked hemodynamic responses in functional ultrasound"
Congratulations!
Organizers:
Vince Calhoun, Tri-institutional Center for Translational Research in Neuroimaging and Data Science (TReNDS), Georgia State, Georgia Tech, Emory, USA
The workshop will bring together brain researchers from various focus areas including but not limited to neurotechnology, brain-computer interfaces, neuromorphic computing as well as data science and machine learning. The goal of the workshop is to present data-specific challenges and opportunities in the field of brain sciences and initiate discussions across communities, and to help increase activity and cooperation across the IEEE societies in this growingly important area of research.
In addition to three invited talks, the workshop will include a panel on Explainability and Reproducibility in Neuroimaging, an afternoon poster session of contributed papers, including a social event, and a best paper recognition with a monetary award.
