Family Check-In Request

At Sonoran Sky and Desert Shadows Elementary, we are committed to supporting students academically, socially, and emotionally so they can be successful at school. If you have concerns about your child's behavior, emotional well-being, peer relationships, or other challenges that are affecting their school experience, our Tiered Support Specialist, Ms. Barrale, is available to provide short-term, school-based support.

If you would like Ms. Barrale to check in with your child, please complete the Family Check-in Request Form found in the weekly newsletter. Check-ins may include problem-solving, teaching coping and self-regulation strategies, building social skills, or collaborating with teachers to support your child's success at school. If additional or ongoing mental health services are recommended, families can also be provided with information about community resources.
