Welcome to my website!

I am an economist whose research lies at the intersection of family economics, gender economics and the economics of education. In particular, I  am interested in understanding  how culture and the transmission of social norms shape economic behavior. I received my PhD in Economics from University of La Laguna (Spain) in February 2026.

During my PhD, I was a visiting researcher at the Graduate Center and Queens College of the City University of New York under the supervision of  Núria Rodríguez-Planas, and at HEC Lausanne under the supervision of Giuseppe SorrentiI am also a collaborator on the ERC Advanced Grant WomEmpower: The Causal Effect of Motherhood, Gender Norms, and Cash Transfers to Women on Intimate Partner Violence, led by Núria Rodríguez-Planas.

I am currently on the 2026-2027 academic job market. My job market paper studies maternal gender preferences in the United States through mothers' emotional responses to children's educational outcomes.
