Our Story

Before it became the DS Commercial Laundry Dealer, it started as a traditional laundry shop, named DS Laundry Services on April 2010. That time, there were only very few laundry shops in Bohol. It was not popular as people were more into handwashing and someone will do it in every household. It took long for DS to get loyal customers. Eventually, it was a good business.

Laundry wasn’t first in the picture. The owners just got the idea that it was good to pair the water refilling station (their first business) with a laundry shop. From the traditional laundry machines, the husband wanted to upgrade them into stackable. But the wife was hesitant at first because the old machines were still functional and it served its purpose.

The husband was persistent into looking for a good brand of commercial laundry machines. He kept on researching different brands year after year but still a no for his wife. The husband came upon the brand Haier which led him to KYZEN, the sole supplier of Haier commercial laundry machines in the Philippines. There were several exchanged of messages with the KYZEN person. Little did he know that the person he exchanged messages with was the CEO and President of KYZEN herself, Madame Jeaneth B. Bongcay. The husband has also learned about the dealership. As a dealer, one is authorized to sell and install the product and services in a particular territory. This made the husband more interested to get the dealership. It took years before the wife agreed upon the idea.

Later on, the wife saw the evolution of laundry and how it helped the life of people especially among women, mothers in particular. Culture wise, mothers always do the laundry, resulting to very tired body, wounds in the hands brought upon by bleach and detergents. Not to mention the long hours of spending in washing rather than spending it with family. In this changing world, there is a need to adapt. And so, the couple have decided to apply for a dealership.

Year 2023, DS was granted with the dealership. And that is where DS Commercial Laundry Dealer has established.
