A breast reduction is essentially a breast lift, but with the added benefit of reducing breast size. In contrast, a breast lift, or mastopexy, is a procedure designed to lift the breasts without changing their size. This is suitable for those who desire a lifted appearance but do not wish to change their breast volume. A breast reduction is a lift that also involves reducing breast size, which is ideal for patients who want smaller breasts. Finally, a breast lift with implants is recommended for patients who require a lift and also wish to increase their breast size. 

It is the latest silicone implant which we call highly cohesive because the silicone gel is very, very sticky and keeps its shape.

In the United States, about 85% of breast augmentation patients opt for silicone/gel implants. As a surgeon, I prefer this type of implant for several reasons. Firstly, it feels more like natural breast tissue and results in less rippling. Additionally, saline implants can be more taxing on breast tissue. It is a common misconception that silicone implants are less safe than saline implants, but this is not true. In fact, both types of implants have a similar silicone outer shell, with the only difference being the filling. Saline implants are filled with saltwater, while silicone implants are filled with highly cohesive silicone gel, also known as gummy bear implants. 

In theory, it is possible to perform Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL) using local anesthesia. However, as a surgeon, I prefer to use regional block as anesthesia because I am meticulous with my liposuction techniques, and I need to extract deep fat that is difficult to numb with only local anesthesia. From my experience, the results of BBL performed under a regional block are superior to those performed under local anesthesia.

When pressure is applied to fat cells, they will compress and eventually break down. This process leads to the release of oil contained within the fat cells, which is then scavenged by the immune system. White blood cells are responsible for transporting the oil to various parts of the body, such as the liver, kidneys, and bloodstream, where it is ultimately disposed of and eliminated.

The fat inside your body, which is located within your abdominal muscles, cannot be removed through liposuction or a tummy tuck. This is because these procedures can only eliminate the fat that is situated outside of your abdominal muscles 

All patient with chronic diseases, such as Diabetes or High Blood Preassure, can qualify for a cosmetic procedure, as long as its under control, we will ask your pcp for a clearence note, and we will run some test to confirm you are on optimal levels to undergo surgery.
