Sathish Kumar is an Assistant Professor at the National Institute of Technology Puducherry. He received his B.E (Civil Engineering) & M.E in Construction Engineering & Management from Anna University. He holds a PhD from the National Institute of Technology Calicut. He was one of the Prestigious Ramanujan Fellowship awardees by the ANRF in 2023. He worked as a Postdoctoral Research Scientist at the University of Split, Croatia (2021-2023) on the scientific project "Development of drainage system on horizontal surfaces from permeable concrete," financed from EU funds. His research interests include sustainable concrete, geopolymer concrete, permeable concrete, fibre-reinforced concrete, repair and rehabilitation of structures, and durability of concrete structures.
