Sustainable Development in Construction

My primary research emphasises the development of new sustainable materials in the construction industry to reduce the global effect on the environment due to conventional building materials. The need to promote sustainable infrastructure is one of the most essential concerns in the present situation. In this context, geopolymer concrete with different source materials was developed, and their structural and durability properties were studied. Currently, my research is on developing permeable geopolymer concrete for the applications like parking lots, walkways, garden areas, etc. This research can reduce the environmental effects of using ordinary cement and improve the quantity of rainwater collected to a large extent.
