1.       DST-SERB-EEQ Grant (2017-2021): 

          Title: “Exploring new possibilities and the chemistry of organic and organometallic functionalized nanomaterials”

         PI: Dr. Vittal Babu Gudimetla

Grant Amount: Rs. 44.20 Lakhs

Contributions: The major component of our research work is mainly funded through this project. It gave us 4 published papers and 2 ready for submission. The work from this grant was submitted for an Indian Patent. It also enabled the completing work of two PhD scholars and supported the project works of nearly 20 students from iMSc, MSc and PGDCLT programs.

2.       UGC–BSR Startup Grant (2015 -2017) :

Title: “Fabrication of carbon nano-materials with pincer type complexes and applications in catalysis”

          PI: Dr. Vittal Babu Gudimetla

Grant Amount: Rs. 6 Lakhs

Contributions: Made pincer ligands and studied its possibilities to functionalize carbon nano tubes. Along with Ph.D. scholars, one M.Phil. and more than 10 iMSc students utilised the facilities from this project to do their project work.
