Biographical Sketch

Dr. Vikram Patil, completed Ph.D. in Mobile Communication-Computing in the year 2010 from Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed to be University. He obtained his BE in Electronics in 1987 and his ME (Electronics -Computer – Application) in 1994. He has been working in the education field at different levels in various institutes for the last 37 years. For last 13 years, he is working as a Principal/ Director  in different institutes. He has been a research guide at Shivaji University, Kolhapur and has successfully guided 06 Ph D. students. His research interests are Mobile & Wireless Communication, Cryptography, OFDM. At present, he is guiding 03 research scholars. He has filed and published three patents and authored one book. Dr. Patil has more than 40 publications, with most of them in journals indexed by google scholar, Scopus, and web of science. To keep himself apprised with the latest technology, he has completed several MOOCs courses in technical and non-technical domains. Dr. Patil has completed Patent drafting, OBE, and Accreditation courses through various MOOCs platforms, and has 15 NPTEL certifications covering varied subjects like IoT, Python programming, Design Thinking, In one course "IP Management for Universities" he is course topper. He has completed 05 consultancy projects. He has also guided many Institutes for NBA and NAAC accreditation. Dr. Patil has been associated with many social activities, through this he has taken several initiatives to counsel students in rural areas about engineering education. He has taken many initiatives to nurture skill-based learning and learning beyond the academic curriculum. He has always strived to strengthen the industry-institute interaction and internship activities in all his associated institutes. Dr. Patil has ensured that all his students grow beyond their comfort zones and learn to develop good communication skills, teamwork management, and a firm hold on academics. He is actively involved in Startup activities and Incubation center activities. 

In 2019, Dr. Patil was honored with the  “Best Director/Principal Award” in the 7th Academic Brilliance Awards at New Delhi. Also, he has been awarded the “Innovative Technological Research & Dedicated Principal Award”, by the Society of Innovative Educationalists and Scientific Research Professionals. 

Currently established a startup, "AdiSa Drone Private Limited" in the incubation center "Techno-Hub Innovation Center" associated with ADCET, Ashta. AdiSa Drona is engaging in drone training and drone services activities. Dr Vikram Patil possesses a drone remote pilot certificate and is a DGCA-certified Drone Instructor.
