People searching for a Pulmonologist in Velachery Chennai can consult Dr. V. Devanathan for assessment and management of a wide range of respiratory concerns.
A respiratory consultation may be useful when symptoms continue for several weeks, return repeatedly, become more severe, or affect sleep and daily activities.

Chest congestion
Recurrent respiratory infections
Excessive mucus production
Difficulty breathing during exercise
Allergy-related respiratory symptoms

Asthma is a respiratory condition that can cause recurring episodes of wheezing, coughing, chest tightness, and shortness of breath. The severity and frequency of symptoms can vary from one person to another.
Some people may experience occasional symptoms, while others may have more frequent episodes that affect daily activities, sleep, or exercise. Identifying possible triggers and understanding individual symptoms can be an important part of asthma management.

Identifying possible triggers can be an important part of managing allergy-related symptoms.
Dr. Devanathan provides allergy and respiratory care for patients with symptoms that may be associated with allergies or other respiratory conditions.
A detailed history can help identify possible environmental or seasonal triggers. Depending on the patient's symptoms, additional evaluation may be recommended.
Chest-related symptoms can occur due to several conditions, including asthma, COPD, respiratory infections, pneumonia, tuberculosis, bronchitis, and other pulmonary disorders. Early evaluation can help identify the possible cause and determine whether further testing or treatment is required.

Devanathan provides chest and respiratory evaluation for patients experiencing breathing difficulties, persistent cough, wheezing, recurrent infections, chest discomfort, and other symptoms involving the lungs and airways. Patients with persistent breathing difficulties should undergo appropriate evaluation rather than assuming that breathlessness is simply due to age, lifestyle, or temporary illness.
Lung conditions can range from short-term infections to chronic diseases that may require regular medical management. Persistent or recurring respiratory symptoms should be evaluated to understand their possible cause and determine the appropriate course of care.
A specialist evaluation may be appropriate when symptoms such as cough, breathlessness, wheezing, chest congestion, or repeated respiratory infections continue or return frequently.
