My name is Dr. Tyius Alexander-Young I was born and raised in Tifton, GA. I  graduated from Coffee County High School. I attended UGA (Home of the GA Bulldogs) where I received my Associates Degree in Health and Physical Education & in Elementary Education. I also attended Valdosta State where i Received my Bachelor's in Special Education, Middle Grades Education and Curriculum & Instruction later I attended Fort Valley University and graduated with my Doctoral Degree in Educational Leadership, English & Music Education. I am also PLC & STEM Certified.

I am in my 35th year of Education I began my teaching career in Douglas, Ga at Coffee Middle School, I also have taught in Tift, Irwin and I am Currently in Ben Hill County where I have taught Middle, Primary, Elementary and High School I spent most of my years at Ben Hill Elementary School teaching 3rd, 4th & 5th Grade Math and ELA, I am Currently teaching 4th Grade Math.

I am Married to TD and I have 5 kids Jeremih M, who is currently the Physical Education/Health teacher here at BHES, Jeremiah L, Henry M, London A, who is a 9th grader at FHSCCA & Kyler A, who is a 4th grader here at BHES. I also have one brother name Tyler.
