MANY DISTRICTS EDUCATE,
FEW CHANGE LIVES
During the past two decades, I have served as a Assistant Conference Center Director, Math Teacher, High School Physical Education Teacher, High School Football Coach, High School Athletic Director, High School and Middle School Vice/Assistant Principal, High School Principal, and previously a Middle School Principal in the Palmdale School District serving the same site from 2015 to 2020 at a Title I campus. At the end of the 2025-26 school year I completed my 16th year as an administrator with most of those school years as the building Principal. I am currently the Assistant Director of Compliance for the Temecula Valley Unified School District, an Adjunct Professor serving the LaFetra College of Education in obtaining a Preliminary Administrative Services Credential at the University of La Verne (Fiscal Policies, School Law, Instructional Leaders, Organizational Management, and School - Community Collaboration, and a Clear Administrative Services Credential Coach for the Riverside County Office of Education.
In addition to my experience I have led student programs such as Dual Credit/Enrollment, CTE Pathways for Medical Health and Technology education as well as intense efforts to enhance climate and culture through Restorative Practices, Standards Based Grading, Capturing Kids Hearts, and CHAMPS classroom structures to name a few. Furthermore, I led our district’s and my individual site’s Federal Funded Magnet School Assistance Program. This grant is only given to five districts across the United States for a five year period. Lastly, I was an active member of the district Comprehensive Support and Improvement (CSI) program to assist site leaders in monitoring and developing plans to identify the root cause for student academic, behavioral, and social emotional success.

Our children attend the Murrieta Valley Unified School District (MVUSD) and in 2021 MVUSD highlighted us as the family of the month. My wife and I are both committed educators. My bride is a Director of Elementary Education and the 2024 Riverside County Principal of the Year! We advocate for families attempting to navigate the educational system on a volunteer basis so that all scholars may become the best version of themselves.
