Welcome

This laboratory started working in 2009, later supported by a small UGC funded project entitled "Evaluation of natural feed selectivity and trophic status of rohu (Labeo rohita H) for periphyton based aquaculture system " (Project duration 2011-2014). The focus of research of this laboratory is - exploring feed resources for sustainable fish culture practice, understanding the feeding efficiency of fish on morpho-ecological interface and small freshwater fish. Very recently, our lab has started focusing on oxidative stress on fish, olfaction and role of sensory biology on their feeding efficiency. This laboratory has been publishing good numbers of quality papers over the last ten years.
