Steven Robert Bauer was born in Sleepy Hollow, New York. Following his university education, he stayed in New York for almost a decade, practicing medicine and working closely with the Suffolk County Department of Health Services as an HIV specialist. His work involved outpatient and hospital settings, where he cared for patients and helped train the next generation of medical professionals.


Throughout his life, Dr. Steven Bauer has consistently devoted time to volunteer efforts, teaching medical, physician assistant, and nurse practitioner students in various healthcare environments. His dedication to education remains a central part of his professional philosophy.


He lives today in Mecklenburg County, North Carolina, with his wife, Barbara, a registered nurse, their two children, and their two Great Danes.
