Dr. Shivendra Singh received a doctorate degree in the field of synthetic organic chemistry from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Indore, India in 2017. He worked as a postdoctoral fellow at the Indian Institute of Science Education & Research (IISER), Mohali, India. He is a recipient of a National postdoctoral fellowship (NPDF) from the Science and Engineering Research Board (SERB), Department of Science and Technology (DST), India. He is currently working as a principal chemist (R & D) in Halliburton, Saudi Arabia.

• Experience of all techniques associated with modern organic synthetic chemistry, including the synthesis, purification, and characterization of chemical compounds on small and medium scale.

• Expertise in handling sensitive reactions and reagents at inert conditions.

• Proven ability to independently design experiments, interpret data, and incorporate data into new experimental designs leading to successful experimental outcomes.

• Expertise in structure determination and analysis by various spectral techniques (FT- IR, Nuclear Magnetic Resonance, Mass Spectroscopy etc).

• Experienced in the chemistry software programs (Origin, ACD, ChemDraw etc).

• Strong leadership, student mentorship, problem solving, and troubleshooting skills.

• Functions well within multidisciplinary teams, and possess outstanding oral and written communication skills.

• Expertise in the synthesis of specialised chemicals used by oilfield industries.
