I have experience of both industry and the academic domains. I was an Assistant Professor at my previous institution in India before I relocated to South Africa. I have extensive industry experience where I was a software developer. I have a proven track record of successfully working on projects, starting from the initial idea and development phase, encompassing vision and analysis, all the way through design, architecture, and final product delivery. My industry experience enriches my passion for research while back to academia. This interdisciplinary approach enables me to bridge the gap between theory and practice, nurturing the next generation of IT professionals and researchers. Also, have studied and worked in different countries, I have developed a strong appreciation for diverse work cultures. Currently, I teach and mentor students in the field of IT.
