Dr. Shantanu Bhunia is currently a Postdoctoral Fellow at the School of Agro and Rural Technology, IIT Guwahati. He earned his Ph.D. in Environmental Studies from Jadavpur University and holds an M.Sc. degree in Botany. Following his doctoral studies, he worked as a Research Associate at the Rural Development Centre, IIT Kharagpur. His research expertise spans sustainable agriculture, rural development, and environmental technologies. Dr. Bhunia received the prestigious ICSSR Fellowship. His accolades also include ANRF ITS, APN PDTW, and funding from the British Council. He is an active member of the Australian Agricultural and Resource Economics Society, serves as an external expert for the Asia-Pacific Network for Global Change Research, and is the Project Director of the ICSSR 2nd LSS HDRA project at IIT Guwahati. Dr. Bhunia is also an editor of a CRC Press book on Natural Resource Management and has served as a referee for more than 30 internationally reputed journals. Recently, he joined Elsevier Next Research as a Scientific Editor.
