He obtained doctorate degree in from BITS, Pilani in 2004. He has also been in-charge doctoral programme over last 20 years in various universities including BITS, Pilani. He has 30 years of experience. He has taught in collaborative education programmes and conducted many MDPs. He has 25 international journal publications to his credit with a total citation count of over 4880 as on date. He is on reviewer board of Elsevier Science, Springer, Inder-science and Wiley-VCH, UK to name a few. He has successfully guided five doctoral students in the areas of energy engineering, heat transfer and computational fluid dynamics. He has also guided two National Renewable Energy fellowships.
