Dr. Saurav Suman is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the National Insitute of Technology Mizoram, Aizawl, Mizoram, India. Dr. Saurav is one of the recipients of the Trainee Teacher Scheme by the Ministry of Education, then the Ministry of Human Resources and Development (MHRD) in 2014, under which he got the opportunity to join NIT Mizoram (an institute of national importance) as a Faculty member just after completing his graduation. He also received full sponsorship to pursue M. Tech and Ph.D. from the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati. During his short span of teaching as well as research, he has published around 20 international journals, book chapters, and conference proceedings till date (2022).
