With a deep-rooted passion for engineering and material science, Dr. Sakshi Chauhan has carved an impressive academic and research trajectory. She was awarded a distinction for her PhD from the Indian Institute of Technology Delhi (2013-2019) in the Department of Applied Mechanics, specializing in Material Science under the esteemed guidance of Dr. Anamika Prasad, Dr. Suhail Ahmed, and Dr. Shah Alam Khan.
Her PhD project was recognized with the prestigious Gandhian Young Technological Innovation (GYTI) Award at Rashtrapati Bhawan in 2015, highlighting her research's impact and innovative nature in material science and applied mechanics.
Before starting this doctoral journey, Sakshi earned a Master of Technology (M.Tech) in Design Engineering from Govind Ballabh Pant University of Agriculture & Technology, Pantnagar (2011-2013), further honing expertise in mechanical systems and structural analysis. This was preceded by a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) in Mechanical Engineering from Govind Ballabh Pant Engineering College, Pauri (2007-2011), where she built a strong foundation in mechanical principles.
The academic path began at Delhi Public School, Ranipur, Haridwar (1993–2007), a formative period that nurtured curiosity, analytical thinking, and a passion for problem-solving.
Driven by a commitment to innovation and research, Dr. Sakshi Chauhan continues to explore advanced materials, design methodologies, and mechanical systems, contributing valuable insights to the field.
