I’m a counselor for emerging museum and nonprofit professionals, an innovative leader, and a hobby travel photographer. I believe in the power of small acts of kindness, both personally and professionally, to create positive change, strengthen communities, and foster welcoming, inclusive spaces for all.

Favorite hobby?
LEGO. I love LEGO, to the point that my ASL name sign is a variation of LEGO.
Favorite place to hike?
Before my recent visit to Olympic National Park, I would have said Caprock Canyon State Park.
What's playing on a long drive?
I usually listen to an audiobook. Nora Roberts's books are my standard for long drives especially since I can usually pick one that about the state I'm driving towards.
Pet peeve?
"Never mind." I find it frustrating when people don't take the time to repeat themselves.
Favorite place to visit?
I love hiking, but I find myself repeatedly returning to Chicago because of the food, the history, the architecture, and the museums.
Favorite historical subject?
Food is a fascinating historical subject. I love learning about the richness of culture and history through food.
