Dr. Ritam Chakraborty has completed his MBBS training from Calcutta National Medical College and received Honours in Physiology.
After completing an internship, he did a houseman-ship in Internal Medicine. He started his training in Pulmonology as a DTCD trainee from Medical College Hospital Kolkata. Later he completed his MD in Pulmonary Medicine from the prestigious IPGMER Kolkata and secured the top position in the university MD examination. He received the University Gold Medal for his academic excellence from the honorable Governor Shri Kesharinath Tripathi. He received a Diplomate of National Board in Respiratory Medicine from the National Board of Examinations, New Delhi after completing his MD.
He has done advanced training in critical care as post post-doctoral fellow and was successfully awarded Fellow of the National Board in Critical Care Medicine from the National Board of Examinations, New Delhi.
He received a European Diplomate in Respiratory Medicine from the European Respiratory Society after successful completion of the HERMES examination.
