Biography:

Dr. Abdul Rehman works as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the Hyper-Connectivity Convergence Technology Research Center at Kyungpook National University, in Daegu, South Korea. He also served as an Assistant Professor at the University of Central Punjab, Lahore, Pakistan. His career includes several academic experiences. He received his Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from the International Islamic University, Islamabad, Pakistan in 2013. He completed his Integrated Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering at Kyungpook National University in Daegu, South Korea. His research interests include the Internet of Things, Social Internet of Things, Industrial Social Internet of Things, Social Networking, Small World Problems, Smart Cities, Smart Transportation Systems, Data Analysis, Mathematical modeling for decision making, and Brain mapping.


Dr. Abdul Rehman received the KINGS Scholarship award for Integrated Ph.D. study from Kyungpook National University. He also received an "Outstanding Researcher Award" from the School of Computer Science and Engineering, Kyungpook National University.

He serves as a guest editor in various international journals. He is the track chair of a special session for the ICSCA 2022 Conference Workshop/Session, and also served as a general chair for the 8th International Conference on Orange Technology (ICOT 2020).
