As a nano-biotechnologist, I like to work on the interface of physics, chemistry, and biology because it gives me an immense opportunity to explore my learned skills for different applications. I graduated from CSIR-National Chemical Laboratory, Pune in Oct. 2017. My Ph.D. work was basically to understand the interaction of nanomaterials with biological entities at the nano-bio interface which offered me an enormous opportunity to extend my expertise beyond biological sciences. I joined the Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur as a National postdoctoral fellow. Currently, I am working as a postdoctoral fellow at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine.
My main objective is to use nanotechnology for better living. I am very much interested in the designing of advanced functional nanomaterials for biological applications which primarily include cancer therapy and diagnosis.
