MI3100 - Process Mineralogy
I regularly share a Process mineralogy course for Undergraduate Engineering and Sciences; the course focuses on:
Main mineral groups and crystal growth
Physical properties of minerals
Main stages of the mineral processing and extractive metallurgy
Main effects of mineral groups over mineral processing response (liberation, rock hardness, leaching capability, sedimentation, etc.)
Main techniques used in mining for measuring mineral properties of rocks (ICP-OES, SEM-EDS, LIBS, Core scanning, etc.)
