The Dropshipping P&L Calculator Chrome Extension (hereinafter referred to as "the Extension", "we", "us", or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy details our practices regarding the collection, use, processing, and disclosure of information when you install and use the Extension.
Because we believe in strict data privacy, our core philosophy is simple: we do not collect, store, or transmit your personal or financial data.
The Extension is designed to operate as a completely localized utility tool on your device. Therefore, we explicitly do not collect, transmit, or store any of the following:
Personal Identification Information: We do not collect names, email addresses, IP addresses, or any other personally identifiable information (PII).
Financial & Business Data: The numbers, product costs, selling prices, return rates (RTO), and operational metrics you enter into the calculator are not tracked, monitored, or transmitted.
Usage Analytics: We do not use third-party analytics software (such as Google Analytics or Mixpanel) within the Extension to track how often you use the tool or what buttons you click.
Web Browsing History: The Extension does not monitor, record, or request access to your general web browsing history or website activities.
All operations performed by the Dropshipping P&L Calculator happen entirely on your local machine (within your Chrome browser's isolated environment).
Real-time Calculations: When you input metrics (such as Ad Spend or Shipping Costs), the profit, loss, margin, and Break-even ROAS are calculated instantaneously using your browser’s local memory (RAM). Once you close the popup, this temporary data is cleared.
Data Export Feature: The Extension provides an "Export to Excel (CSV)" feature. When triggered, the Extension generates a CSV file locally on your machine and prompts your browser to download it. This file goes directly to your local hard drive; it never touches an external server.
To function properly, the Extension requests the absolute minimum permissions required by the Chrome Web Store.
We operate strictly within the default_popup window of the extension.
We do not request permissions such as activeTab, storage, tabs, or host permissions. Because we require no invasive permissions, your data remains secure and inaccessible to the Extension outside of your direct manual inputs.
The Extension does not integrate with any third-party APIs, advertising networks, or background tracking services. We do not sell, rent, or trade any data to outside parties, because no data is ever collected by us.
Even though we do not transmit data over the internet, we prioritize the security of the Extension itself. The Extension is built using modern, secure web standards (Manifest V3) enforced by the Google Chrome Web Store, ensuring that the code running on your machine is sandboxed and isolated from malicious external scripts.
Our Extension does not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13.
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for other operational, legal, or regulatory reasons. If we make material changes to this policy, we will update the "Effective Date" at the top of this page. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes.
