DropPinShare — Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how the DropPinShare iOS application ("the App") handles

information. By using the App, you agree to the practices described below.

1. We do not collect your data

DropPinShare does NOT collect, transmit, sell, or share any personal data. The App has no

servers, no databases, no analytics, no advertising, and no third-party tracking SDKs. There is

no account, no login, and no way for the developer to access anything on your device.

2. Where your information is stored

Everything you create in the App is stored locally on your own device:

   • Saved places (name, message, map link) — stored in your device's local storage.

   • Door/house photos — stored as files in the App's private area on your device.

   • Your default dialing code (e.g., 966) — stored in your device's local settings.

None of this ever leaves your device.

3. Permissions the App requests, and why

   • Location (optional): Used only to center the in-app map on your current

     are picking a place. Your location is shown to you on the map; it is never stored, logged,

     or transmitted. You can decline and pick a location manually.

   • Camera (optional): Used only to take a door/house photo that is saved to your device. Photos

     are never uploaded automatically.

   • Photo Library (optional): Accessed only through the system photo picker, and only when you

     choose to add a photo. The App does not read your photo library in the b

   • Clipboard (optional): Checked locally so the App can offer a "paste a copied number" button.

     A number is read from the clipboard only when you tap that button, and i

     transmitted.

4. Phone numbers

Phone numbers you enter are used solely to build a standard WhatsApp click-to-chat link

(https://wa.me/...) so the App can open a chat for you. Numbers are NOT saved

and are NOT uploaded. They are kept only for the current session and discarded.

5. Third-party services

DropPinShare itself does not connect to any online service. When you tap "Send", the App opens

WhatsApp (operated by Meta) via a link, and when you share photos it uses the

sheet (operated by Apple). Once you leave the App, WhatsApp's and Apple's own privacy practices

apply. DropPinShare has no control over and is not responsible for those serv

6. Data retention and deletion

Your data stays on your device for as long as you keep it. You can delete any

any time from within the App. Deleting the App removes all of its data.

7. Children's privacy

The App is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect any data from anyone,

including children. No data is collected from users of any age.

8. Changes to this policy

If the App's data practices change, this page will be updated.
