When you visit our mobile application, and use our services, you trust us with your personal information. We take your privacy very seriously. In this privacy policy, we seek to explain to you in the clearest way possible what information we collect, how we use it and what rights you have in relation to it. If there are any terms in this privacy policy that you do not agree with, please discontinue use of our Apps and our services.

This privacy policy applies to all information collected through our mobile application, ("Apps"), and/or any related services, sales, marketing or events (we refer to them collectively in this privacy policy as the "Services").

Our Commitment to User Privacy

Except as explained in this Policy, DroidGuard does not collect any Personal Information about you when you use the Service. “Personal Information,” also referred to as personally identifiable information, is information that may be tied to a specific individual. Examples of Personal Information include name, email address, mailing address, mobile phone number, and credit card or other billing information. Please note, however, that for purposes of this Privacy Policy, DroidGuard does not include your unique device identifier within the definition of Personal Information. DroidGuard’s practices regarding unique device identifiers are described separately in this Policy. If you purchase DroidGuard Subscription Service, you will be required to provide certain Personal Information to a third party Payment Processor (Such as Apple Payment Process). The Personal Information you provide in connection with your purchase of the Subscription Service of DroidGuard is not associated with your online activities when you use DroidGuard.

Additionally, when you use the Service, DroidGuard will check your account information (which includes Personal Information) to determine the level of service you have signed up for before using the app. Your account information is not associated with your online activities when using DroidGuard.


Our Commitment to Web Security

DroidGuard employs certain techniques and technologies intended to ensure the security of our systems. However, please note that this is not a guarantee that such information may not be accessed, disclosed, altered, or destroyed by breach of any of our physical, technical, or managerial safeguards.


The Information We May Collect

User-provided Information. In connection with the Service (such as in user forums or when registering for an account), you may provide us with various information, including Personal Information. You may also submit Personal Information in connection with purchasing DroidGuard Subscription Service, which is collected through a company providing a payment mechanism (e.g., a payment processor, Apple’s iTunes, or a similar means of payment) (each, a “Payment Processor”) and is retained by the Payment Processor. Your Personal Information is not associated with your online activities when you are using DroidGuard it does not require you to provide us with your Personal Information unless you decide to upgrade to DroidGuard Subscription Service."


Device-specific information. We collect device-specific information, such as your hardware model, operating system version, unique device identifiers, and mobile network information;

It may be necessary to temporarily maintain usage data to assist in debugging a problem with the service. This usage data may include such information as the date and time of your login and the IP addresses you visited. This personal information is not retained once the troubleshooting is resolved;

We may collect and disclose personal information, including your usage data, to governmental authorities or agencies, including law enforcement agencies, at their request or pursuant to a court order, subpoena or other legal process, if there is a good faith belief that such collection or disclosure is required by law;


How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect from all of our services to provide, maintain, protect and improve them, to develop new ones, and to our users.We use information collected from cache and other technologies to improve your user experience and the overall quality of our services.

We may use your information to debug a problem. When you contact us, we keep a record of your communication to help solve any issues you might be facing. We may use your email address to inform you about our services, such as letting you know about upcoming changes or improvements.


How We Protect Your Information

We work hard to take all possible security measures to protect your information from misuse, unauthorized or unlawful access or disclosure, loss, alteration, damage and destruction. In particular:

  • Your personal information is contained behind secured networks and is only accessible by a limited number of persons who have special access rights to such systems, and are required to keep the information confidential.

  • Our app is checked on a regular basis for security holes and known vulnerabilities in order to make your access to our service as safe as possible.

We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer to outside parties your Personal Information unless we provide users with advance notice. This does not include partners and other parties who assist us in operating our app, conducting our business, or serving our users, so long as those parties agree to keep this information confidential. We may provide Your Information to our partners for the sole purpose of allowing them to conduct business.

We may use service providers to process Your Information on our behalf for the purposes described in this Statement. We contractually require service providers to keep information secure and confidential and we do not allow our data processors to disclose your information to others without our authorization, or to use it for their own purposes.


When DroidGuard Discloses Information

Except as described in this Policy, we will not disclose information that we collect in connection with your use of the Service to third parties without your consent. Please remember that, although DroidGuard assigns a unique identifier to each user of the Service, DroidGuard does not tie your unique identifiers to Personal Information about you, and all browsing information or other similar information relating to your online activities transmitted by you to our servers when using DroidGuard is cleared after your “session” is closed.

DroidGuard may disclose any information, including Personal Information provided by you, if required to do so by law or in the good-faith belief that such disclosure is necessary to comply with state, federal, or international laws (such as export control, copyright or criminal laws), in response to a court order, judicial or other government subpoena or warrant, or to otherwise cooperate with law enforcement or other governmental agencies.

DroidGuard also reserves the right to disclose any information, including Personal Information provided by you, that we believe in our sole discretion is appropriate or necessary to (i) take precautions against liability, (ii) protect ourselves or others from fraudulent, abusive, or unlawful uses or activity, (iii) investigate and defend ourselves against any third-party claims or allegations, (iv) protect the security or integrity of the Service and any facilities or equipment used to make the Service available, or (v) protect our property or other legal rights (including, but not limited to, enforcement of our agreements), or the rights, property, or safety of others.


Do We Make Updates to This Policy

We will update this policy as necessary to stay compliant with relevant laws.

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. The updated version will be indicated by an updated “Revised” date and the updated version will be effective as soon as it is accessible.
